Celebrities need to stick to Entertaining!

Jennifer Anniston recently stated that if you don’t have a uterus, you’re not allowed to comment on abortion. It’s the “idea” at the core of Identity Politics. The notion that Men are not entitled to comment on predicaments particular to Women, that Whites are not allowed to discuss the ideas and values of those of different ethnicity or that Heterosexuals ought not to critique the biological misinformation being perpetrated by the non-binary community, entails the end of meaningful human discourse of any kind. But of course that’s what the Left wants, its devotion to “inclusiveness” literally endorsing the abandonment of Man’s capacity for moral and intellectual integrity.

Yet our contemporary culture is rife with scathing condemnations of White, Western European Man! By what absurd violation of logic are those confined to “progressivism’s” extensive list of the “disenfranchised,” many of whom are clearly driven by anger and resentment, entitled to comment on those outside their demographic? If I can’t possibly understand what it means to be a Woman, how can any Woman understand what it means to be a Man?

Of course Man’s capacity for Reason is the key to his transcendence of these issues, indeed his key to a more civilized future. I have only recently discovered Thomas Chatterton Williams, an American cultural critic born of a Black father and White mother whose books and articles challenge the supposed anti-racism of Ibram X. Kendi which is in fact racist to its very core. 2019’s “Self-Portrait in Black and White” is sub-titled “Unlearning Race,” Williams seeing a focus on Identity as an absurd impediment to human progress rather than the opposite. It is the idea informing the message of most contemporary “conservatives,” whatever their Color. It is the idea informing my own book, also completed in 2019, entitled “Mindless by Design: The Progressive Assault on Western Civilization” which includes a brief history of the West from its inception in Ancient Greece to the 19th Century, that era known to students of culture such as myself as the Romantic Era, an era riddled with drug addicted, sexually promiscuous children [Rousseau, Byron, Coleridge, Baudelaire, etc.] who were in fact the precursors of today’s deplorably self-centered “woke” generation.

While I am presently trying to publish as an E-Book my Word Document which only a few friends have read, I am motivated not by a desire to make money but rather by an honest concern with what seems to be the ongoing decline of our civilization. If you are interested in the truly fascinating evolution of Western Culture, email me at borsellino.pj@gmail.com and I shall send it along to you without charge as an attachment.
