On Oct. 24, Not the Bee cited an interview conducted by MSNBC’s Alex Wagner with a Black women who said she could not possibly vote for Kamala Harris. Kamala’s gender, the woman said, had nothing to do with her opinion. She simply did not seem to have either the intelligence or character to fulfill the role of a president. At the same time she mocked the fact that Kamala was being celebrated as Black when her lineage was clearly different from that of most Black Americans.
I have watched videos of Kamala insisting she is fully cognizant of the many problems caused by the chaos at America’s southern border. Oddly, I have seen others in which she condones amnesty for all illegal aliens! While she recently suggested she would support legislation granting free [i.e., taxpayer-funded] transgender surgeries for both illegals and inmates of America’s prisons, public outrage led her to immediately backtrack on that policy. Kamala, as the Black woman interviewed by Alex Wagner suggested, is definitely in over her head. While she is partially a victim of circumstances beyond her control, she is most definitely one of the architects of those circumstances. The ridiculous truth behind Biden’s selection of her as his Vice President and the Democrats’ nomination of her as their Presidential candidate in the upcoming election, is that they were decisions based on the Left’s obsession with Identity, on its inane assumption that both people of Color and Women in general will vote for her because she is Female and Non-White. The quality of her ideas and policies, apparently, is only secondary. Such is the intellectual absurdity of the Contemporary Left!
