On June 21 in Birmingham, England, a young white man named Cody Harper was attacked by 3 individuals who quickly walked off as a nearby police officer intervened. The entire event was caught on camera. While the video evidence clearly shows 2 of Harper’s assailants to be black, all three of them were apparently colored. Grabbed from behind by the female officer in question, Cody, obviously mistaking her for one of his assailants, reacts aggressively. As a result he was arrested for assaulting an officer, while his three attackers were allowed to simply walk away!
Though a White Male bystander attempts to explain to the police that Cody was the obvious victim of what had just happened, Harper is nevertheless taken into custody, even as he rants that he simply wants to go home to his family. He is expected to appear in court on July 23 to answer to the charge of assaulting a police officer.
Able to view the event in question, a good many Brits expressed their outrage. Yet the Birmingham Police Department both defended the actions of its female officer while attempting to have the incriminating video banished. Rejected in that effort and apparently motivated by public opinion, it is now attempting to identify the 3 individuals guilty of the only criminal act committed on the day in question.
While this was but one minor incident, it is representative of the cultural cancer that has metastasized throughout much of the Western World. Imagine the outrage had three White men chosen to assault an innocent young Black man! The sanctimonious ideologues of the Left along with their media minions would have exploded with moral outrage, and the three men in question might be facing significant prison time. Yet a British officer of the law allowed Cody Harper’s assailants to simply walk away and decided to arrest their victim!
On July 21 The Blaze published an article on “anarcho-tyranny,” a term introduced by conservative Sam Francis in the 1990s. “Anarcho” refers to the chaos unleashed by the Left’s relative indifference to the Rule of Law, while “tyranny” refers to its willingness to arbitrarily impose its “inclusive” values upon one and all! The Blaze piece cites several examples of British authorities more or less exonerating the crimes of new immigrants out of empathy for their status as “oppressed minorities.” The case of Cody Harper was no anomaly. Indeed the moronic tendency of “progressives” to forsake an Objective approach to the Rule of Lew out of deference to their Identity Politics, has metastasized throughout the Democratic West. I can think of no better example than that of Myles Sanderson, a Canadian Indigenous who had been arrested 54 times for acts of varying degrees of violence, and yet was free in Sept. of 2022 to engage in a stabbing spree which left several of his own people dead. Leftist “compassion” killed those people. Indeed Leftist “compassion” is killing Western Civilization itself!
