On Feb. 22, The Blaze posted an article on a home invasion in Milton, Ont., Canada, in which 5 intruders, at least one of whom was armed, had broken into the residence of Ali Mian at 5 A.M. a few days earlier. Ali is a legally licensed gun owner who, when he saw his mother under attack, opened fire, killing one of the intruders and wounding another. Their accomplices ran off and, as of the 22nd, still remained at large. The absurdity which led The Blaze to comment on this issue is the fact that Mian has been charged with second degree murder. By way of explaining the “logic” of Canadian Law, it cited a statement by our Prime Minister who declared in 2022 that while legal gun owners are entitled to hunt with their weapons, they “can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. That’s not a right that you have in the Constitution or anywhere else.”
So here in “progressive” Canada, should an armed robber, rapist or killer invade your private space, you must let him have his way. It’s a matter of of Social Justice!
