As an 11 year old, California girl Chloe Cole became confused as puberty began to take its toll on her body. Naturally shy, she was reluctant to inform her parents of her concerns and went online where various sites convinced her she might very well be a Boy trapped in a Girl’s body. Confiding this possibility to her parents, they took her to a gender clinic where they were told their refusal to allow her to change sexes might result in her suicide. Terrified, they gave their assent to the transition and Chloe began to receive testosterone shots while ultimately having her breasts removed at age 13.
Approaching 20 now, she is fully convinced she is and always was a Woman and that the information given her parents at the gender clinic had less to do with Science than the postmodern dementia of our age which sees all so-called Facts as the product of one political bias or another, the bias in this case being the “patriarchal” notion that Men and Women are Nature’s norms and that the Gender of 99.99% of the species is determined by the configuration of their genitals.
Devastated by the fact that she now looks and speaks like a man and will never be able to breast feed a child should she somehow succeed in having one, Chloe’s mission these days is to expose the insanity of submitting children as young as 6 [i.e., grade 1 students] to ideologically motivated propaganda whose repercussions they cannot possibly understand. While one can’t drink or drive or vote ’til one’s late teens, Trans activists apparently feel perfectly entitled to convince pre-pubescent children to make decisions that might utterly destroy their lives. Chloe, by the way, is hardly the first to have been so victimized.
Republicans in 19 American States have managed to pass legislation which makes it illegal to inflict the Trans process on any minor. The multiple articles I have read of a “liberal” bent almost unanimously suggest this initiative to be rooted in a complete disregard for the welfare of those who truly are afflicted with Gender Dysphoria. Public debate on issues such as the participation of those born Male in Women’s sports or their freedom of access to Women’s washrooms, have, we are told, led many afflicted with gender issues to contemplate suicide. This is a typically Leftist, “woke” attempt to smother Freedom of Speech by equating any dissenting opinion to Hatred, and it is disgusting.
Should, as many Trans activists want, their unscientific notion of the utter Fluidity of Gender be allowed into classrooms filled with 6, 7 and 8 year old kids, the results could be devastating, ultimately producing thousands of those who, like Chloe Cole, had their lives destroyed because they were simply too young to understand the political and biological facts of their situation.
Coincidentally, John Bel Edwards, the governor of Louisiana, recently vetoed the “Stop Harming Our Kids Act” which had sought to ban all gender-altering surgical and hormonal procedures on kids of a certain age. His State, he said, had thus far produced no evidence of abuse and those who introduced the act were clearly motivated by hatred. Edwards is of course a Democrat whose sympathies predictably lie with what is an extravagantly small minority, rather than those millions of “privileged” normal kids whose lives might be impacted by decisions such as his.
Quite aside from the pseudo-science informing the Trans agenda, its proponents seem quite comfortable in pre-empting the rights of Parents in guiding their Children’s futures. And many Leftist governments agree, using the powers granted them by their status to indoctrinate school age kids with highly debatable “progressive” biases utterly repulsive to their parents. The audacity of those given to this tactic is that they see themselves as noble defenders of Democracy, their idiotic assumption being that anyone who chafes against their Ideological Tyranny is his/her self somehow a tyrant. It is truly insane, yet the narrative supported without question by most of the mainstream media.
