At 6:30 A.M. on Jan. 3 in Raleigh, N. Carolina, beloved local school teacher Zoe Welch called the police to inform them she was under attack by a home invader. The man in question assaulted her even as she was on the phone! She died in hospital later that day of her injuries.
The perpetrator of this abomination was 36 year old Ryan Camacho, an individual with a 20 year record of criminal behavior. Having been charged with a variety of offenses, including assault with a deadly weapon, he was once again before the courts in 2025, accused of 4 serious felonies. Astoundingly, those charges were reduced to a single misdemeanor and he was set free. In December, when he was once again facing criminal charges, prosecutors recommended he be consigned to a mental institution as he was clearly a danger to the general public. Judge Louis Meyer, however, even after having declared Camacho to be mentally unfit to stand trial, ruled there were no grounds to have him involuntarily committed! And so on Jan.3, 2026, Camacho was able to kill Zoe Welsh!
As reported by The Raleigh News and Observer, Wes Philips, a former neighbor of Camacho, said he had left his previous home almost a decade ago due to the irrational and frequently threatening behavior of this individual. How, one wonders, could a man so obviously dangerous have continued to remain free throughout 2 decades of criminal behavior? While certainly not all judges such as Louis Meyer are of the woke Left, the Cultural Climate which has led to degenerates such as Camacho constantly being released from custody is clearly a product of what “progressives” like to see as their compassion and understanding, But where, one must ask, is their compassion for wonderful, innocent human beings such as Zoe Welsh? How degenerate is a Civilization which has produced a legal system which proudly refuses to consider the Moral Status of those subject to its life-altering judgements?
As I have pointed out in previous blogs, in 2022 the Indigenous Myles Sanderson killed 11 of his fellow people in Saskatchewan, including his own brother. He had been arrested more than 50 times throughout his life but was clearly still free due to Canada’s compassionate empathy for its Indigenous population. Truly Insane!
