As if to validate the premise of my last blog, The Blaze today reported the death of 82 year old Donald Pierce of Portland, Oregon. Waiting at a bus stop at 8:30 P.M. on June 25, he and another elderly gentleman were attacked without provocation by 29 year old Keffer White who announced he was going to kill them because they were old. While the second man, Edward Lichtenstein, has survived, Pierce, kicked repeatedly in the head as he lay on the ground, has not.
What is appalling about this incident, aside from the fact that White has chosen to plead innocent in spite of the testimony of various eye-witnesses, is that he has been arrested on more than one occasion in the past for violent felonies and yet has continued to roam free thanks to the “compassion” of Oregon’s “progressive” approach to the Rule of Law. One wonders how the younger members of the Pierce family feel about those whose policies quite literally killed their father/grandfather. One hopes Americans in general will come to their senses and banish the irrational, sentimental and ultimately moronic gibberish of the radical Left which is quite literally turning America into a “third world” nation.
