Just watched a video posted today by Benny Johnson showing House Republican Kevin McCarthy at a bridge by the Mexican border which has apparently been the entry point of approximately 70,000 illegal immigrants over the last 7 weeks. Outraged that Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, has continued to insist that the border is secure, McCarthy has called for him to resign or face impeachment in the House in the near future.
The Democrats are clearly aware that a significant number of Americans are unhappy with their border policy. But rather than change that policy, they have decided to simply lie about its impact. Their motivation, of course, is their conviction that their globalist ideology, the belief that national borders are inherently evil and racist, is unequivocally correct. That this entails the notion that Cultural differences don’t matter, that Man’s Ideas and Values are neither here nor there, is a perfect manifestation of the superficiality of the vision of the contemporary Left, a mindless perspective of which it is apparently proud.
