Mindless Sentiment vs. Rational Thought!

A Postscript to my last blog: Members of the girls’ volleyball team at Randolf Union High School in central Vermont recently complained to school authorities that they were uncomfortable sharing a washroom/dressing room with a transgender female, one born male who now identifies otherwise. As of today their complaints have fallen on deaf ears, the suggestion of course being that they are trans-phobic.

But guess what: A Transgender Female is NOT the same as a Biological Female. This is a demonstrably Objective Fact, a fact clearly significant to the girls in question. In the last few months trans females have impregnated women with whom they were sharing jail cells and assaulted others in their own washrooms. This is in no way meant to suggest that all trans females still harbor strong male impulses. Nor is it intended to promote hatred against those of that orientation. But biological reality rather than mindless sentiment ought to be the guiding principle of all government policies on such issues. However inclined to define themselves as the gender of their choice, trans individuals must acknowledge the deviancy of their condition, that term used not as a moral pejorative but as a simple biological fact.

In a Rational Humanist Universe, the Rule of Law is applied dispassionately to all. In contemporary Western societies, however, those deemed to belong to an oppressed minority are always given special consideration. It’s an obvious extension of the Marxist narrative. Hence the decision of the authorities at Vermont’s Randolf High School to sanctimoniously side with their transgender student rather than the girls distressed by his/her presence in their personal spaces. That their distress is based upon the unequivocal biological differences between Men and Women is apparently irrelevant. As asking the individual in question to admit the deviancy of his/her condition and occupy separate quarters might hurt his/her feelings, it was simply not an option. The Hurt Feelings of the “oppressed” always preclude the Truth in our “progressive” dystopias. As the Vermont girls who feel threatened by the presence of their transgender teammate are by their very nature the members of a “privileged” majority [i.e., biologically normal females], their feelings don’t really count to the idiots presently in charge of our world.
