In Feb., Canada’s House of Commons voted 260 to 0 to censure the C.P.P. for its oppression of approximately 1 million Uighurs in China’s Western Xinjiang region. But Trudeau and his cabinet abstained from the vote. Justin, we must remember, lauded the Chinese Communists for the effectiveness of their regime just a few years ago and his father was an ardent admirer of Fidel Castro. I guarantee that sometime in the future, when we’ve put this Leftist dementia behind us, his refusal to denounce the C.P.P. will be greeted with the same level of derision now heaped upon Neville Chamberlain for the stupidity/moral degeneracy of his dealings with the lovely Mr. Hitler approximately 80 years ago. For the time being, however, tolerating evil when launched from the Left seems perfectly acceptable. After all, Canada’s enlightened electorate just voted Trudeau to another term in power!
On Fri. Sept 24, that other paragon of moral sensitivity, Joe Biden, vilified mounted U.S. Border Patrol agents who, while attempting to deal with an influx of Haitian illegals at Del Rio, Texas, were, according to reports, using whips on them. Appalled, Biden threatened to deprive them of their horses, apparently condemning them to confront on foot, with no use of force whatsoever, hordes of intruders by whom they would be grossly outnumbered. The ever “woke” New York Times published a front page story hurling outrage at this horrid abuse of American power.
But it turned out the agents were not whipping the intruders. Photojournalist Paul Ratje, who was there, said those who reported the incident mistook what are called “split reins” which dangle loosely from a horses neck, for whips of which there were none. The Times which had obviously done no fact checking whatsoever in its eagerness to create sympathy for the migrants, subsequently failed to properly apologize, stating merely that it had “overstated” its case.
In a recent interview Alejandro Mayorka of the Dept. of Homeland Security said that approximately 12,000 Haitians had entered the States, 20% of them, by his estimation, clearly ill. Apparently Biden and the “woke” American Left don’t feel their primary concern ought to be the health and welfare of their own citizens. Apparently “compassion” and common sense are incompatible. The D.H.S. admits that Covid has most definitely entered the States along with the hundreds of thousands of migrants who have infiltrated the country illegally under Biden’s “leadership.” Please explain to me the “morality” of his policies which recklessly jeopardize the lives of the very people who voted him into office!
Chaos rages at various sites throughout Texas and elsewhere as a result of the Democrats’ truly idiotic border policies. Obama himself recently admitted as much. Armed human smugglers in trucks have been spotted on southern rural roads bearing their paying customers to parts unknown. Hard core drugs are unequivocally involved. When Trump suggested the migrant hordes to be rife with criminals he was of course accused of being a racist. But the presence of drug cartels and human traffickers is a simple fact. Indeed Lara Logan of Fox News reported on Monday that it has been discovered the cartels have instructed their people to intentionally incite conflict with border agents while filming it for publication online, their obvious aim being to get crafty Joe to follow through on his promise to virtually cripple those seeking to stem the tide of illegals.
One would think only a complete fool would fall for such a ploy, but…..? And what if the influx of Covid and some of the most dangerous drugs on the planet has increased radically over the last several months? Is that such a bad thing?
