Really, is it as Simple as that, you Fools?

In the aftermath of Trump’s victory, Juan Williams appeared on Fox and said the elections of 2016 and 2024 proved unequivocally that Americans in general, and particularly American Men, simply do not want a Female president and certainly not one of a non-White complexion. I can’t claim to be fully versed on William’s politics, but his affiliations with the N.Y. Times and Washington Post would suggest he’s a Black Leftist who appears on Fox in an opposition role. His explanation of Kamala’s loss was utterly superficial yet, sadly, typical of the Identity Politics that has become standard on the Left which cannot defend the rational or moral validity of most of its policies because they have none!

On MSNBC, Joy Reid, a Black Woman whose vision of Reality is utterly tainted by her Race and Gender, was appalled by Kamala’s defeat, saying she had run a “perfect campaign.” Really, what world does she live in? Why, she wondered, would Women whose “reproductive rights” were under attack by Republicans, vote for Trump? Kamala, of course, has maintained that any restriction put on a Woman’s ability to terminate a pregnancy entails a violation of her fundamental rights. That includes doing so late in the ninth month when the life being terminated is basically that of a living Human Being. The answer to Reid’s question, of course, is that millions of Women have moral integrity and are not given to the sort of self-centered, narcissistic dementia that informs her world view.

Turning on my T.V. the day after the election, I was inadvertently confronted by the ladies of The Social, Canada’s version of The View, discussing the implications of Donald Trump’s victory. His aggressive, macho demeanor, one of the ladies suggested, perhaps signals a return to the days of yore when the political realm was considered the rightful domain of Men, while Women were deemed more suited to the roles of housewives and mothers. She was not, I must admit, so explicit, but that was her insinuation. Are these women, I asked myself, not familiar with Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, Anne Coulter, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, etc., etc., ladies who are smart, courageous and beloved by millions for their contributions to the contemporary political debate? Does Donald Trump’s election signal an impending return to our “patriarchal” past, or is the very notion but a tactic employed by the Left to avoid discussion of the very real reasons for Kamala’s defeat, i.e., the absurdity of many of her ideas, the absurdity of her performance as Vice-President, the absurdity of her various self-contradictions, etc., etc.?

I know I am repeating myself, but those who passionately support the contemporary Left must come to terms with the fact that it constantly engages in the sort of Identity based attacks cited above because most of its policies cannot be defended in either moral or pragmatic terms. If you live in a city whose homeless problem has been seriously exacerbated by the arrival of hundreds if not thousands of Illegals invited into the country by the Biden administration, you know full well what I mean.
