The Suicide of the West

The opening paragraph of an article in the July 8 edition of the Hamilton Spectator, the local organ of the Canadian Left’s vast propaganda machine, reads as follows: The federal government plans to launch a national ad campaign aimed at making more white Canadians knowledgeable about systemic racism.

Accompanied by a picture of the coffins of 4 innocent Muslims recently run down in London, Ont., the thrust of the article is clearly that it was not a lone psychopathic killer but “systemic racism” that was responsible for their deaths. But the concept of “systemic racism” is an ideologically motivated “narrative” rather than a Fact, a narrative based upon the ludicrous proposition that nations founded upon the principles and values of White, Western European, Post-Enlightenment Man, are “systemically racist” because they are informed by White, Western European, Enlightenment principles and values. If that seems like an absurd tautology to you [oops, tautologies are always absurd], it is because it is!

Throughout these almost 200 blogs I have cited various “intellectuals” convinced that teaching Science and Math in schools is inherently racist, that Capitalism, the work ethic and nuclear family are merely Western biases, indeed that Reason itself is but one vehicle of access to the real world. The incredible hypocrisy of “systemic racism” is that those who claim to be its victims have inevitably languished due to their failure to honor the very principles and values by which they claim to be oppressed. Hence, for example, the continuing effort of a certain percent of Canada’s Indigenous, who have already received billions of Canadian tax dollars courtesy of our thriving economy, to profit from that economy while refusing to support it, apparently finding its typically Western and repulsive.

While it is an axiom of traditional wisdom that one can’t have it both ways, in the demented world of the contemporary Left, you apparently can!

Of course thousands of Canada’s Indigenous have prospered by taking advantage of the opportunities made available to them by their White rulers, just as millions of Black Americans have escaped the poverty of the inner city through discipline and hard work, qualities which “conservatives” such as Candace Owens and Thomas Sowell see not as typically White but as absolutely essential!

There are and always will be racists among us. Yet I can say with absolute certainty that that disease is far more prevalent today in the Western world among the populations of “the other” as a direct result of the lunacy launched their way by an ideology which equates those Ideas and Values most conducive to success in the actual world to a species of oppression. Imagine an academic, as recently happened, declaring that France’s love of its cuisine is oppressive to its non-French citizens! Imagine simpletons like John Ralston Saul preaching that a preoccupation with “structure,” without which there would be chaos, is a mere Western obsession! Imagine a government so devoid of common sense, so insensitive to the welfare of its own citizens, that it would invite the rest of the world to violate its borders! Imagine a Canadian Prime Minister willing, according to the Spectator, to spend over 3 million dollars on an ad campaign which basically says that every Canadian who believes in the Principles and Values upon which his country was founded is somehow guilty of upholding “systemic racism” !

The concept of “systemic racism” is a Neo-Marxist scam which could very well lead to the end of Western Civilization as we know it. Ironically, significantly, even as I have been writing this blog, Indigenous “protesters” and their supporters tore down and defaced the statue of Sir John A. MacDonald in Hamilton’s downtown core. And of course the police simply stood by and watched. But why wouldn’t they when the idiots running this country apparently believe that principles such as the Rule of Law are mere expressions of White Supremacy?
