In the aftermath of Wednesday’s shooting of several Catholic school children in Minneapolis by Trans female Robin Westman, FBI Director Kash Patel asserted that the killer was clearly motivated by a hate-filled ideology. On the very day of the shooting, The Blaze cited You Tube evidence of what motivated Westman in his horrific act. Loathing Jews, Catholics, Donald Trump and seemingly the entire Non-Trans world, he proudly displayed weapons inscribed with phrases such as “kill Donald Trump” and “f—k you, eat sh-t faggot.” Apparently already committed to his impending crime, he says frankly: “I’m sorry to my family, but that’s it — that’s the only people I’m sorry to. F–k those kids.”
Bizarrely, in the aftermath of his assault, The N.Y. Times produced an article headlined: “The Motive is a Mystery.” Such is the sort of disingenuous B.S. that has inspired millions to abandon the mainstream media. At the same time, the Democratic Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, begged Americans not to “scapegoat” all Transgender people. But was Kash Patel’s reference to a “hateful ideology” intended as an attack on all Trans people, or an attack on the Left’s ludicrous, Neo-Marxist insistence on always blaming “the other” for one’s own, personal failures.
Obviously not all Trans people are stoked by the Hatred that motivated Robin Westman. But to the simple-minded Left, if you’re Black and unhappy with your life, you’re clearly the victim of White oppression; if you’re an unhappy Woman, it’s clearly because of Men; and of course if you’re having trouble dealing with your gender ambiguity, it’s because of the straight majority. My point is simply that the “hateful ideology” to which Patel refers is not identified with any specific group, but rather with the informing narrative of the Left which systemically absolves the Individual of any responsibility for his life, while inciting him to always blame The Other. Am I suggesting the vile, oppressive forces cited by the Left don’t exist? Of course not! But the inevitable result of its simplistic world-view is the incitement of Hatred among all “minorities.” It is why this Blog is entitled “The Politics of Hate.” It is why Robin Westman chose to slaughter innocent Catholic school kids rather than deal with the complexities of his/her life.
