Reason No, Fanaticism Yes!

I tell my “liberal” friends that a vote for the Left is a vote against Western Civilization and they stare blankly.

Black American Pastor Kynan Bridges recently suggested most people on the Left don’t have a clue about what they’re really voting for, their ignorance reinforced daily by the river of bias churned out by the mainstream media.

Has CNN or NBC devoted any time whatsoever to a discussion of the Marxist principles of the founders of B.L.M., principles which those ladies proudly celebrated five years ago when they began their movement?

The Whole Foods grocery chain in Canada has just told its employees they cannot wear poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day. After all, their logic goes, as we are a Systemically Racist Civilization, why should we commemorate those who died defending us?

It is the same logic, one assumes, that led the grocery chain Food Lion in N. Carolina to forbid its employees from wearing masks bearing the American Flag to work. [The violence of the public’s reaction soon caused them to amend their enlightened policy.]

Nancy Pelosi, waxing ambiguous on the violence in America’s streets, said simply: “People will do what they will do.” Profound!

Kamala Harris, in discussing those responsible for that violence with Stephen Colbert, announced with glee, they’re not going to stop!

Defenders of Chris Cuomo say that in spite of his initial assent to the mayhem caused by Antifa and B.L.M., he has come to emphatically condemn it. But he only did so after Don Lemon pointed out to him on air approximately 90 days after his initial statement, that it was seriously harming Democrats in the polls.

In Philadelphia, in response to the late Oct. death of another Black criminal at the hands of police, the sensitive souls of B.L.M. marauded through the streets of that city chanting: “Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground.”

On election night, Kathy Griffin gleefully re-tweeted the infamous picture of herself holding Donald Trump’s severed head in her hands.

The following night in N.Y. City, Social Justice Warrior Devina Singh screamed “Fuck you, Fascist” at a N.Y. cop just before spitting in his face. When he arrested her, the crowd jeered.

Black actress/singer Janelle Monae, enraged at those who voted for Donald Trump, said they should all burn. [Trump got more Black and Latino votes than any Republican ever!]

Supporting Keith Olbermann’s suggestion that they should be removed from society, the equally vengeful Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has now called for a list of “Trump’s sycophants” so that they might be held accountable after Biden’s assumption [?] of the presidency. Such lists, Dinesh d’ Souza points out, are typical of fascists governments eager to annihilate their enemies.

A political movement overflowing with the sort of simpletons cited above would not hesitate to try to rig an election. This charge, of course, is dismissed by those similarly incapacitated as just so much “right wing” hate mongering. It’s a vicious circle. Evidence of the fundamental irrationality of the Left is of no use in confronting those who are fundamentally irrational!

Rudy Giuliani held a press conference today in which he claimed that 50 to 60 legally sanctioned poll watchers, several of whom stood behind him, had been denied their right to oversee the counting of mail-in ballots in Philadelphia. One of those individuals can be seen in a video showing his credentials to the person in charge of a polling station, only to be told, basically, to take a walk!

Has the mainstream media acknowledged that there is evidence that over 10,000 dead people voted in Wayne County, Detroit?

In an article published 8 or so years ago, the N.Y. Times admitted mail-in votes to be the most easily subject to fraud. Using the pandemic as an excuse, Democrats radically slackened the rules governing such votes in a number of States leaving many Republicans wringing their hands in anticipation of widespread abuse. The hypocritical Times, given their hatred of Trump, naturally changed its tune, claiming those worries to be just so much paranoia. Yet only one utterly consumed with bias would deny the disturbingly suspicious voting patterns in several States where Trump had a considerable advantage among walk-in voters only to have it massively overturned by mail-in ballots sometimes counted in the middle of the night with no Republican oversight whatsoever.

Given their manifestations of intolerance and hatred for Trump and indeed any point of view other than their own, I find it absurd that those on the Left should ask us to believe they would never dream of violating the fundamental principles of Democracy, never dream of violating the Rule of Law. They have been doing so on a daily basis for months now.

Thank goodness for men of integrity like Vernon Jones, a former Black Democratic member of Georgia’s House of Representatives, who has just come out against the lack of transparency, lack of accountability, indeed the criminality of the polling practices in his home State.

But it doesn’t matter. I could cite a thousand examples of ignorant statements and vile behavior emanating from the Left only to have them dismissed with the charge that there are those of similar character on the far Right. But none of the “conservative” thinkers I revere would ever dream of supporting the sort of moral and intellectual trash which the mainstream Left sanctions or at least pretends not to notice day after day after tedious day.

Biden recently promised to end Trump’s reign of “chaos” when he becomes president. If a mob threatens to burn your house to the ground and you stand up to it, who is responsible for the ensuing conflict? The fact is that Trump, for all his imperfections, is one of the first politicians in recent memory to scoff at the onslaught of destructive B.S. coming from the Left without fear of being deemed Politically Incorrect. Blaming him for the “chaos” in America’s streets because he stands up against what is little more than mob rule, is like accusing firemen of starting the very fires they were sent to extinguish.
