Simone Melissa Gold is an amazing woman, both a lawyer and E.R. doctor who also happens to be a conservative activist. As she explained to Jordan Peterson in a recent interview, she had a permit to speak at the Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021, on the subject of medical freedom in America. While she could clearly see that a demonstration was in progress, the east side of the Capitol where she was slated to speak was decidedly peaceful, including even mothers walking along with babies in strollers. Intent on expressing her opinion on the Covid lockdown, she did so while realizing that few could actually hear her. When others informed her that an Insurrection was in progress, she says she actually laughed, so absurd did it seem. Yet as the crowds surged, she was swept along into the main corridors of the Capitol. Video evidence shows her being jostled forward against her will!
As she was confronted by police when she attempted to give her dissertation, her presence at the Capitol that day was known to the authorities. On subsequently hearing that she was on the FBI’s most wanted list, she once again laughed, given the absurdity of this apparent rumor. Yet on Jan. 18, 2021, FBI agents crashed through the door of her L.A. apartment and took her into custody!
As were all “insurrectionists,” Ms. Gold was tried in Wash. D.C. where, she tells Peterson, 96% of the population had voted for Biden in the 2020 election. An obvious political bias was evident not only in the FBI but in the judges consigned to determine the fate of people such as herself. Indeed the felony charges levelled against her, which included things such as witness tampering and evidence shredding, had absolutely nothing to do with her presence in the Capitol that day! Ultimately pleading guilty to the misdemeanor of trespassing, which generally includes no prison time whatsoever, she was nevertheless sentenced to 60 days in prison.
The obvious point of Ms. Gold’s interview with Jordan Peterson is the double-standard which has come to poison various U.S. institutions under the leadership of Leftists convinced that anyone who disagrees with them is implicitly Criminal! Hence the widespread tolerance for the 2020 antics of BLM which destroyed over 2 billion dollars of property, motivated by the simplistic “progressive” notion that America is systemically racist. That the protesters were rioting in defense of a career criminal, did not seem to matter. Yet Simone Gold, a conservative who was actually scheduled to speak at the Capitol on Jan. 6, had her apartment invaded by ranting FBI agents for virtually doing nothing at all. Disgusting!
Of course Jan. 6 continues to be demonized by both Democrats and their Media whores as an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government. That 99.9 % of those who entered the Capitol engaged in no violence whatsoever, is apparently irrelevant. So also, it seems, was Trump’s contention that the 2020 election had been stolen from him through the calculated refusal of both the media and the legal community to draw attention to the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden which clearly implied the corruption of the entire Biden family! Such is the demented world in which we live, a world in which the sometimes disgusting behavior of those on the Left is excused on behalf of what is deemed to be Social Justice, while innocent individuals such as the wonderful Simone Melissa Gold are persecuted simply for being Conservative.
