Judicial Watch is an American organization founded in 1994 and presently led by Tom Fitton. Generally deemed to be “conservative” in perspective, it uses the Freedom of Information Act to expose government incompetence and/or corruption, against which it frequently launches legal actions. One of its main focuses under Fitton has been the seeming indifference of various jurisdictions to the integrity of their Voter Lists, a failing which would seem to imply an indifference to the Democratic Process itself!
On April 12, Judicial Watch posted a video celebrating its victory over the state of Colorado which had been forced to remove 372,000 ineligible individuals from its Voter Lists. Among the cancelled were those who had actually died, those who had left the state, and those who were illegal aliens. Since 2019, by the way, Colorado has been governed by Democrat Jared Polis.
Equally incriminating to the Left is the fact that since 2022 over 900,000 have been removed from the voter lists of N.Y. City due to rulings instigated by Judicial Watch. N.Y., of course, has not had a Republican Mayor since Bloomberg in 2013. But what of the wonderfully “progressive” state of California whose major city of Los Angeles has been forced to remove over 1 million names from its lists since 2022? Is it no more than a coincidence that L.A. has not had a Republican Mayor since 2001? Or is it a fact that there may be some merit to Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was stolen from him by the corruption of various Leftist strongholds utterly unwilling to confess to their brazen biases?
In 2020, mail-in voting was deemed a sensible option to the norm due to the dangers posed by the Covid outbreak. It is still, however, allowed in 33 U.S. States. Thomas Fitton’s concern is that lists containing thousands of ineligible voters make it easy for the millions who loathe Donald Trump to vote more than once. Grandpa died 2 years ago but continues to be listed as an eligible voter, so I think I’ll make sure that jerk Trump doesn’t win by mailing in a second vote in grandpa’s name.
While certain studies have declared there to be no significant evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, one wonders if the conductors of those studies might not be just as biased as the politicians who needed to be forced by Judicial Watch to clean up their voter lists. Such is the sad state of the contemporary political climate. Fitton’s point, of course, is that with or without evidence of voter fraud, it is mandatory that only those legally entitled to cast a vote in any given jurisdiction, be allowed to do so. While there are no doubt domains dominated by Republicans whose voter lists need to be updated, his citation of N.Y.C. which has seen almost one million names removed from eligibility since 2022, is truly worrisome. It is possible that socialists such as Mamdani are perfectly comfortable with allowing illegal aliens to vote given that they will most likely support the party which allowed them into the U.S. in the first place? Is Judicial Watch just another “right-wing” perpetrator of conspiracy theories, or a legitimate defender of the basic dynamics of Democracy itself?
Coincidentally, The Blaze today published a piece citing the fraudulent nature of the Dec. 2019 attempt to impeach Donald Trump, a Leftist hoax entailing a biased judiciary rife with Trump hatred. One wonders how the mainstream media might react to this, given that it shared the very same corrupt agenda, stifling the Hunter Biden laptop story in the knowledge that it might very well destroy Joe’s chance of winning the 2020 election. The perfectly Rational agenda of Judicial Watch is “right-wing” only in the sense that it seeks to counter the absolutely Irrational biases of the contemporary Left!
