Judicial Watch today reported that it had just succeeded in having 372,000 people of questionable eligibility removed from Colorado’s voter lists. This brings to over 6 million the nation-wide total of those purged from such lists as a result of its activism!
Just yesterday, The Blaze cited Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont’s comments on the proposed “Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act,” an act whose purpose is pretty much self-explanatory. A Democrat, Lamont typically implies the motive behind the initiative to be anti-inclusive if not racist. Of the need for voters to provide proof of citizenship, he recently said: “I, for the life of me, can’t figure out why we’re doing this. What’s the rush?”
Ironically, as pointed out by The Blaze, Lamont last month validated a law demanding that those turning in more than 1000 containers to his state’s bottle redemption centers must show unequivocal evidence of their identity! Utah senator Mike Lee, a Republican, cited the absurdity of Lamont’s perspective as follows: “In Connecticut, you have to show I.D. to recycle more than 1000 bottles, but not to cast a vote for the next leader of the free world.”
