Imagine if a Conservative had done This!

Yesterday, July 10, Drea Humphrey of Canada’s Rebel News commented on Mark Carney’s proposed bailout of B.C. entrepreneurs in possession of approximately 2500 Vancouver condo units which they simply could not sell. The city, apparently, ranks fifth among the world’s most expensive urban centers in which to live. But is something wrong here? Isn’t supply and demand a basic principle of the capitalist system? Ought a leftist government to be giving 1.45 billion tax dollars to wealthy entrepreneurs who misjudged their market? If a conservative regime were to make such a decision, would it not be reviled as just another example of the corrupt relationship between the Right and the Rich? Indeed ought not Carney to be thrilled that middle class Canadians might now be able to purchase Vancouver condos made affordable by the rational principles of the Free Enterprise?

B.C. Member of Parliament Aaron Gunn, a Conservative, called for an investigation into the Carney deal, but it was voted down by the Liberals. I mention this simply because it is another example of the self-righteous and always judgmental Left, pursuing ends which make no sense whatsoever!
