Lise Merle is a Saskatchewan mother of six and a staunch defender of Women’s Rights. On July 29 The Rebel News Network posted a video of Merle interviewing two eighteen year old girls who had just graduated from high school. What concerned Reegan and Miley was that the school they attended in the small town of Lampman, Sask., had decided to allow a Trans Female to use the girl’s washrooms and locker rooms this past year. Distraught that an individual with a penis might see them in their most intimate moments, both girls admitted to rushing home to urinate when excused by their teachers. Still other female students, they said, used nearby businesses as their washrooms while some actually drank less so as not to have to pee!
I cite this online post because it entails not some conservative pundit expostulating on the absurdity of the contemporary Left, but the real life reaction of two lovely young girls who had been seriously distressed by a decision apparently rooted in “compassion.” Compassion for whom? As is usual with the Left, their school’s authorities had automatically chosen to aligns themselves with the member of an “oppressed minority,” while displaying a mindless indifference to the welfare of decent “normal” people!
No one is suggesting Ttrans individuals ought to be vilified as freaks! But institutions such as the school in question need to find solutions to this problem which do not victimize young girls whose only “sin” is their inability to convince themselves that a person with a penis can become a Female through an act of volition. As with its decision to allow Trans Females into Women’s Sports, the “woke” Left simply ignores Biological Reality when it suits its purposes. This disdain for the Objective Truth pervades the “progressive” mentality. Women in professional sports who feel threatened by their Trans opponents are apparently addicted to their “privilege.” To hell with them! And to hell with the girls of Lampman High who feel entitled to engage in their most intimate of feminine functions without some Biological Male staring at them! How dare they????
