One of the main concerns of Tom Fitton’s Judicial Watch is the preservation of voter integrity within the U.S.. As he recently stated in a podcast, approximately 5 million names have now been removed from voting lists around the country due to challenges launched by Judicial Watch. Given the Leftist bias of those in charge of N.Y.C., a million people there formerly allowed to participate in the electoral process have now been deemed legally ineligible to do so. Is the celebration of such facts a matter of “right-wing extremism” or of simple common sense?
On March 25 Donald Trump launched an Executive Order designed to prevent all non-citizens from participating in America’s elections. Why, his edict implied, should those who have never paid a penny in taxes, those who perhaps entered the country illegally and may in fact hate the U.S., be allowed to determine its future? While this may seem to be a matter of common sense, Denise J. Casper, a Black, Obama appointed district judge from Massachusetts, subsequently ruled against Trump’s initiative, cancelling his mandate that all those seeking to register as legal voters show proof of citizenship. She was certainly not the first among Leftist judges across the country to express disdain for the notion of Voter Integrity. Yet a couple of days ago the Supreme Court ruled in Trump’s favour, declaring district courts did not have the authority to simply trash such executive orders.
While I am not denying some of Trump’s initiatives may be unconstitutional, his effort, in his words, to protect “the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship” seems utterly legitimate. The pathetic truth of the contemporary Left is that it supports the “rights” of illegals because it feels most will therefore vote in its favour. This clearly entails putting its lust for power ahead of the basic principles upon which the U.S. was founded. This is hardly surprising, of course, given that “progressivism” as we know it today is in fact intent on dismantling Western Civilization itself, the rational construct of the Nation State as a fundamental unit of the World Order now deemed to be just another White, Western fetish. National borders don’t matter, Reason doesn’t matter, the Rule of Law doesn’t matter, shared Enlightened Values don’t matter. Criticize Islam for treating Women as little more than slaves, and you are not an advocate of Women’s Rights but rather a racist jerk. Such is the stupidity of the “inclusive” world promoted by the “compassionate” Left!
