Immigration can have Horrid Repercussions!

Al Quds Day was established in 1979 by Ruhollah Khomeini shortly after becoming Supreme Leader of the newly established Iranian Islamic Republic. The term refers to the presence of Jews in the Middle East and events held that day are implicit with the notion that Palestinians are the rightful owners of what is presently Israel, which ought to be simply obliterated. A history of the region at this point being impossible, let us simply say that there is no truth to this crass, anti-Semitic narrative.

Ontario’s Premier Doug Ford said in 2018 that he thought Al Quds day events should be banned in Canada. Oddly, he had done nothing to enforce that belief until last Friday, the day before the planned rally in Toronto when he asked an Ontario court to declare Saturday’s protest before the U.S. Consulate, illegal. The judge who denied his request said there was no reason to conclude that the days’ events would in any way lead to violence, and no evidence that they might include the spewing of Hate Speech. Ironically, shots had been unleashed on the U.S. Consulate just a few days earlier in an attack most likely launched by Iranian sympathizers. The judge’s ruling was absurd, yet hardly surprising given the Cultural Climate legitimized by the contemporary Left.

Reporters for both Juno News and The Rebel were on site as hundreds of those sympathetic to the Iranian Theocracy advanced on the U.S. consulate, calling for Death to both America and Israel. While there have been several massive protests in Iran against its regime over the last few decades, one young man claimed they were simply the product of Western Propaganda. Another declared the recently deceased Khamenei to be “the most humane leader that has ever existed.” Indeed the latter is known to have declared that Human Rights were a fundamental Principle of Islam. But who are the simpletons, liars and hypocrites in this scenario, the Al Quds Day protesters who showed up to celebrate contemporary Iran, or the hundred or so counter-protesters who showed up to condemn it?

The counter-protest was led by Salman Sima, a former Iranian citizen who was tortured there for his beliefs and now resides in Canada. He was perplexed that his new homeland had allowed the hate-spewing fools he was witnessing in Toronto’s streets to even enter the country. Another counter-protester, an Iranian woman, exposed the absurdity of Khamenei’s claim that Islam cherished Human Rights. Women in Iran, she said, have No Rights whatsoever! Exploding the absurd myth that he was “humane,” she cited the 40,000 or so who have been slaughtered in recent years for simply questioning their government’s policies. The 2022 protests, for example, incited by the needless death of Mahsa Amini who had been arrested for failing to wear the proper Women’s head gear, led to approximately 500 deaths curtesy of Iran’s “humane” leader!

In her Juno podcast, Candace Malcolm states that the investigation into the early March murder of B.C. Professor Masood Masjoody, a staunch critic of the Iranian regime, had revealed that aside from his killers, there were numerous other pro-Khamenei agents in North America intent on silencing all opposition to their beloved leader. Indeed Iranians who left their homeland to escape such madness have said that the Canada of today is nothing like the safe haven to which they came a few years ago. Naturally our Jewish population is similarly concerned with its well-being, given the ignorance and hatred graphically evident on the streets of Toronto!

Goldie Ghamari, a Canadian political activist and former Iranian citizen, expressed her fervid hope that her people might soon be liberated from the tyranny of Ali Khamenei in an interview with Piers Morgan a few months ago. She was almost immediately threatened with execution by the Handala Hack, one of several websites supported by the Iranian government. One wonders what hell her life has become in the intervening months.

Canada, of course, is not the only Western Nation to have been infiltrated by this poison. On Mar. 13, Salem News cited the 3 jihadist attacks that had taken place in the U.S. over the previous 7 days, one of them, predictably, on a Jewish Synagogue in Michigan. At the same time it has been surmised that Great Britain failed to join Operation Epic Fury for fear it would result in widespread violence amongst its massive Muslim population which had entered its domain while it was still a member of the European Union. Immigration, it seems, is a far more complex issue than the “inclusive” can ever admit.

Am I recommending a radical reduction in the number of foreigners allowed to migrate to our Western Democracies? Of course not. The vast majority of them are no doubt decent people entitled to partake of the wonderful benefits available in the Capitalist West. At the same time, as millions of Muslims have no doubt shed the truly repulsive aspects of traditional Islam [i.e., death to Homosexuals, the oppression of Women, etc., etc.], I am not suggesting slamming the door on all those of that faith. What I am descrying, however, is the ludicrous double standard of a country such as Canada which never ceases trying to silence those who hold views inconsistent with the “woke” Left, while defending those whose views are palpably repulsive simply because they are members of “the other.” Thus did a judge declare that Al Quds day was in no way an expression of hatred! Thus did Toronto’s police simply stand by as pro-Iranian protesters screamed Death to Israel! Ironically, the two people they arrested on the 14th were counter-protesters there to defend the Human Rights of the millions presently being oppressed by the Iranian Dictatorship.

Migrants expressing views that are demonstrably inconsistent with the Humanist Values of our Western Democracies need to be silenced, imprisoned or deported. This is not a matter of Racism or Islamophobia, but of simple Common Sense!
